Welcome to Ayurveda Tamarind Tree Garden Resort! Before we embark on your delightful stay, let’s go through a few details to ensure your experience is as wonderful as can be. Please take a moment to familiarize yourself with our terms and conditions.

General Terms and Conditions

  • The contract is formalized upon the acceptance of the offer by the guest. The hotel may choose to confirm the room reservation in writing.
  • If a third party handles the booking/reservation on behalf of the guest, the third party shares joint and several liability together with the guest towards the hotel.
  • The agreement is considered finalized upon booking and confirmation of the room/rooms. In situations where immediate confirmation is not possible due to short notice, the room/rooms will be held available.
  • The Guests must be at least 18 years old and legally competent to enter into contractual agreements.
  • Scheduling Ayurvedic treatments requires an appointment with one of the Ayurvedic practitioners available at the Ayurveda Tamarind Tree Garden Resort.
  • In case the contents of the hotel reservation confirmation varies from the guest request, the content in the hotel confirmation shall prevail unless an objection is raised by the guest in writing within 10 days of receiving the reservation confirmation.
  • Ayurveda Tamarind Tree Garden Resort does not guarantee the healing of any illness/ailment through the Ayurvedic therapeutic measures administered.

Obligations of the Hotel and Terms of Payment:

  • The hotel undertakes to provide the guest with the reserved Guest Room and the agreed services.
  • The customer undertakes to pay the agreed room rental and other applicable charges.
  • If the guest requests a reduction in the number of rooms booked, changes to the services, or the length of the stay, the hotel may approve such changes subject to revision of the prices as applicable. but this may be subject to an increased price. Any changes must be documented in writing.
  • The quoted prices are excluding of the applicable government taxes and service charges.
  • The full payment of the agreed price is required at the time of booking. In case of any concerns or inquiries, please contact us at [email protected].
  • Payment can be made through credit/debit cards. Any bank-imposed transaction fees shall be charged to the customer.
  • Please note that neither Residence Peelawatte (Pvt) Ltd nor the Hotel management Company it represents on this website will be liable for any exchange rate losses/gain due to any transactions/refunds processed, irrespective of customer’s credit/debit card currency.

Contractual Services and Payment Details:

  • The brochure and booking confirmation outlines the services included in the agreed-upon price, covering the length of stay, specified treatments, meals, and taxes. Any extensions or additional treatments shall be charged separately.
  • Full board concludes after breakfast on the departure day for stays starting with lunch on the arrival day, or after lunch if the stay starts with dinner.
  • No refunds are available for unused services.
  • In the event of a delayed stay due to illness or significant personal reasons, a deposit will be credited in full towards a newly booked stay within one year, with proper certification. Refunds will not be issued.

Binding Offers and Pricing Terms:

  • If more than four months pass between the agreement and service, the hotel reserves the right to adjust prices without notice.
  • All prices and agreements are in Euros

Arrival and Departure

  • Check-in is after 3:00 p.m. on the day of arrival, and check-out is by 11:00 a.m. on the day of departure, unless otherwise agreed in writing. Guests are requested to inform the reception of their departure by 10:00 p.m. on the previous day. Delayed departure up to 6:00 p.m. incurs a half-day room charge, and departure after 6:00 p.m. incurs a full-day room charge.

Cancellation by the Guest/Booking Person

  • Cancellations must be in writing.
  • Cancellation fees:
    • Up to the 28th day before arrival: no fees.
    • Between the 27th and 15th day before arrival: 50% of the agreed price.
    • On the 14th day before arrival or later: 80% of the agreed price.


  • Ayurveda Tamarind Tree Garden Resort is not liable for services arranged by third parties.
  • Guests are responsible for their participation in leisure activities, checking sports facilities, equipment, and bicycles before use. Use of fitness machines and bicycles is at the guest’s risk.
  • Ayurveda Tamarind Tree Garden Resort is not liable for the loss or damage of installed objects and exhibits.
  • Costs resulting from oil spots on upholstered furniture due to not using provided protective clothing and devices will be invoiced to the guest.
  • Ayurveda Tamarind Tree Garden Resort is not liable for additional costs incurred for external medical and social care, including patient transportation, during the guest’s stay. The guest is fully liable for such costs.

Airport Transfer

  • We offer up-and-down transportation services from the airport on your booked travel dates. Our air-conditioned vehicles provide a comfortable ride, and the cost is Airport Pickup 25 Euros and Airport Drop-off 20 Euros.
